Here Stands A Sleeping Staircase is a sculpture reconstructed in the public space. The work is a monument in pause, proposes abandonment as a link to the past, hand in hand with an ongoing daily experience of the public. The decomposition of the organic material progresses alongside its negotiation with its new environment in the neighbourhood of Anderlecht in Brussels.
